Hello, Henrietta! Looking for something to do in your town this January? We’ve put together a list of our favorite events happening near you. On your way, stop by our Quicklee’s locations at East Jefferson or Lehigh Station. View a full list of locations.
First Friday at Tinker - January 3rd
You don't have to let winter stop you and your preschooler from enjoying Tinker Nature Park! During the first Friday morning of each winter month, the park hosts a themed storytime and then offers a walk in the woods. There are cuddly stuffed animals available at storytime and an indoor craft is available in case of inclement weather. The fun starts at 9:30 a.m. For more information, click here.
Tree Recycling and Food Drive at Tinker - January 11th & 12th
Do you love a live holiday tree but not sure what to do with it once the season is over? Bring it to Tinker from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on January 11 and 12 for it to be recycled into mulch for the trails. (Just be sure not to bring bags, strings or plastic of any kind.) Not only can you give to one community resource but two - just bring a canned good or other non-perishable items for the Rush-Henrietta Area Food Terminal. For more details, click here.
Henrietta Winter Carnival - January 18th
The Henrietta Recreation Center is bringing its indoor winter carnival back again this year, with fun and fireworks. The festivities start at 6:00 p.m. with fireworks starting at 8:30 p.m. This family-friendly event is free; just register online. For more information, click here.
